Why Tan Indoors
When you tan at an indoor tanning salon, your skin produces a tan the same way that it does when you tan outdoors. When you tan in an indoor tanning salon it allows you to control the amount of ultraviolet light that you are exposed to, to help avoid sunburn. At our tanning salon, your maximum tanning session is determined by the equipment manufacturers recommendation as well as our trained staff that take into account your tanning history and skin type.
What To Expect
Depending on your natural tanning ability, beginners often see results after their first tan. It can take approximately 4 - 6 sessions to achieve a base tan. We recommend that beginners tan no more than once every 2 days until a base tan is achieved. After a base tan is achieved you can normally maintain your tan with 2-4 sessions per week depending on the tanning bed. We recommend that you use a indoor tanning lotion offered by our salon to improve your tanning results and we recommend using a moisturizing tan extender to maintain your tan longer. Our staff will be happy to assist you in choosing a lotion right for you and determine a tanning schedule that fits you!
